Diabetes Wellness Circle
Diabetes Wellness Circle is a group intended to support, encourage and educate anyone living with diabetes. Join us at noon on the 3rd Tuesday every month for this hybrid (virtual & in-person) support group.

Stirring Up Healthy Recipes
Join the Stirring Up Healthy Recipes cooking class to learn more about healthy eating and diabetes friendly recipes! In this class participants will learn about healthy, delicious recipes that support well-being for chronic disease prevention and self- management. This class is 12-1pm the second Friday of each month.

Know Diabetes by Heart
Know Diabetes By Heart (KDBH), sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association, is a free education session offered in-person or online. The program aims to help participants better understand the link between diabetes and heart disease.

Health Extension for Diabetes
This program aims to help you to better manage your diabetes so that you prevent or delay complications.
The program is approximately 4 months long and includes a series of 8 education sessions and intermittent support sessions designed to help you learn more about diabetes and provide you with the necessary skills and support that you need to successfully self-manage your diabetes.

Breastfeeding 101
Breastfeeding 101 is a single, session program that is instructed by a Certified Lactation Consultant with the option for additional one-on-one follow-up, as needed.
Open to all expectant, new, and support person’s to mother’s/birthing persons, this class provides information about the benefits, basic techniques, and information on overcoming possible problems of breastfeeding/chestfeeding.

Join a webinar the first Wednesday of each month providing information about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and the support resources available in our state.

Balance and Breathe Yoga at Gaffney Public Library
This class is designed to help prevent the process of muscle mass loss that can lead to falls. Yoga can help promote balance, confidence, and strength to decrease fall potential as you age. This class is the first Tuesday of every month.

Fresh Food Boxes are filled with 15-20 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. The contents change every 2 weeks and each box includes unique recipes, tips, and nutrition notes.

National Federation of the Blind Of South Carolina Cherokee County Chapter
Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each Month starting at 10:00am at the Senior Centers of Cherokee County, Inc. 499 Rutledge Ave. in Gaffney. Phone access also available.
